"Once upon a time," she began, "there were two children named Lily and Tom. They were best friends, and they loved to play together. One day, they were playing in the snow when they came across a magical portal. They stepped through the portal, and they found themselves in a winter wonderland.
The snow was sparkling in the sunlight, and the air was filled with the sound of Christmas music. Lily and Tom were amazed by all the beautiful things they saw. They met a friendly snowman, a talking reindeer, and a wise old owl. They even met Santa Claus himself!
Lily and Tom had a wonderful time in the winter wonderland. They played games, sang songs, and ate delicious Christmas cookies. But as the sun began to set, they knew they had to go home. They said goodbye to their new friends and stepped back through the portal.
When they got home, they told their grandmother all about their adventure. She was so happy that they had had such a wonderful time. She told them that the winter wonderland was a special place where imagination and friendship could come true.
Lily and Tom never forgot their adventure in the winter wonderland. They knew that the magic of Christmas could be found anywhere, if they just opened their hearts and minds to it.
The end.
