About the Author
Peter Jenkins is an acclaimed author of young adult fiction. He is best known for his novel Looking for Alaska, which won the Michael L. Printz Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature. Jenkins's other novels include An Abundance of Katherines, The Great American Morp, and Every Day.
Jenkins was born in Austin, Texas, and grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied English and creative writing. After graduating from college, Jenkins worked as a teacher and a journalist before becoming a full-time writer.
Jenkins is a gifted storyteller who writes with honesty, humor, and compassion. His novels explore the complexities of teenage life and the challenges of growing up in a rapidly changing world.
